I'd say grimdark x hopepunk but i know @kiraofthewind.com exists so i can't say that. So instead I'll say cozy spy thriller. I don't know if "thriller" and "cozy" can go together but i'm sure someone can prove me wrong.

I find the idea that people review games without playing them pretty wild. It’s like reviewing a restaurant by reading the menu in the window.
I think if you were to review a board game without first playing it, or you reviewed it after you changed the rules or didn’t follow some of the rules, you would get rightly mocked.
And yet, in TTRPGs, it’s a common practice.
