one of my favorite things about season 4 of Enterprise is how little of a shit it gives about canon. Completely throws out the original ideas of the romulan war and replaces it with something that...honestly, also whips ass, it fucking rules, the drone ship arc was really fucking cool

Let's be honest, if that professors wasn't trans the university would have had her back on this. This isn't something that the average professor has to worry about, it's very explicitly part of a systemic attempt to eradicate trans people by making it impossible to be trans and employed.
