One of the things I hope future politicians take from Zorhan is the videos. Like, little check ins that keep the people informed of what he’s doing is such a good thing.
Half the battle with this guy is just reiterating government can and already does good things that are so ubiquitous they’ve become invisible. He’s able to remind you in a way that you understand that good government can exist outside of a 24/7 vengeance operation, and in NYC already does.

If we were to do another immigration organization, I would want to see reform focused on actually getting people the legal help they needed to maintain in compliance and only exporting proven criminals. Our country is strongest when we’re a beacon of inclusion and diversity.
This is important & revealing. Gallego is from AZ. He ran to the right of Dems in 2024 on immigration. The fact he's saying this speaks volumes. He sees where the public is on ICE. Tear it down. Build another non-police-state-freak-show immigration enforcement agency.

Every American should be ashamed of who we are and what we have become as a nation today. We have a long history of military misadventures and even crimes but the attacks we have been conducting on Venezuela are among the most wanton, egregious and least defensible acts we’ve ever conducted.

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.
