From Pathfinder 2E: "Glabrezus are looming behemoths who revel in the act of twisting mortal desires into their ultimate ruin, betraying and manipulating as easily as they breathe."

Seems apt, lol. :)

Eh, for InDesign none of the competition I’ve trade has a few important features I need. Big one has to do with how fonts are rendered. Plus I wouldn’t want to have to reformat all my books.

Last, I also think your interpretation ignores the design intent for this change—flexibility. The reason they want to do this is to make decks more flexible; stripping a color from a commander doesn’t meet that, so I think your interpretation of the rule is pessimistic. Anyway, have a nice day!

There *are* cards in the game that force a choice during deck creation, like Prismatic Piper. But the proposed rules for hybrid mana doesn’t say you make a choice once for a hybrid commander and stick with it.

Checking for understanding, I think what you’re saying is that you have to pick whether the hybrid pip is Green OR Blue when you make Tat your commander. Based on my understanding, you’re not locked in to treating that pip as 1 color for color identity. Since it can be either, it can be both.

It’s the same because color identity checks all pips on the card, not just the casting cost. Same reason as to why Najeela here is a WUBRG commander.

Here’s the article where Gavin talks about it and the explanation he gives that I quoted you with:

Sort of? It’s a black card with a hybrid simic activated ability, so you could run it in a deck with a color identity that includes BG or UB, and if you used it as a commander it would have a color identity of UBG. OR functions include AND, so the proposed change doesn’t nerf this commander.

If anyone asks, the only AI tool I use in Adobe is this one that cuts stuff out of pictures for you. It’s like a smart scissor tool that can delete backgrounds you don’t want while leaving subjects in tact. I don’t mind AI when it optimizes my work, but I don’t want my work to be automated.

You probably need to order the book from Paizo to get it, and Paizo’s storefront isn’t the greatest (they’re actively working on it). This limits how many people know about the game and are playing it in the wild. I’d go with some of the other people in your thread and join some discord communities.

I haven’t seen any copies of the book anywhere for sale. I talked to my FLGS about it, and they said they’ve been having trouble getting Paizo merch because of the Diamond Distribution thing, where Diamond went bankrupt and is trying to steal all the product they have to liquidate for themselves.

Yes. Some people are poop, and it’s okay to admit it no matter your age. /s
