Health secretary @rthonwesstreeting.bsky.social says he has not ruled out a public inquiry into maternity failings. If there is to be a public inquiry I think its focus should be on the national policy, decisions, leadership and responses to local problems at NHSE/DHSC levels. What do you think?

Foreign doctors/nurses shunning the NHS because anti-migrant rhetoric, rising racism have created “a hostile environment”.

Successive UK govts have failed to provide local supply, raided other countries.

Without immigration UK economy/services will decline. Still no honest debate.

At last Labour see reason! Lib Dems fought for Erasmus for Londoners but Labour blocked us. Mayor then put it in his manifesto but did nothing. Thankfully Govt have acted. The lesson? Keep the pressure on Labour to repair our relationship with the EU. Eventually they'll catch up!

In 2026, the UK state pension age will rise to 67 from 66, fully implemented by 2028.

Rich retire whenever they want. The poor die at work, receive low pension, have shorter life.

Low wages = low private pension. Neoliberals want to cut state pension, inflict more misery on millions.
State pension age to increase to new threshold for millions of people
An increase in the age is on the horizon after it was announced more than a decade ago.
