I suppose it was only a matter of time until they came for diversity in yeast. I think cheese is next on the list. Any cheese with visible mold is now woke. Cheddar, jack, and mozzarella will be the only cheeses approved by the Committee for American Cultural Purity. Still debating on pepperjack.

The only dating advice I can offer is that if someone isn't using ISO 8601, that's 😬🚩🚩 and you are gonna regret every single second past the epoch you wasted on them.
The only dating advice I can offer is that someone somewhere will have forgotten about leap years and it will break all your code.
The only dating advice I can offer is that if the date isn't written on an archival document, you may determine a date from context clues and use "circa," or else use "undated."

It is remarkable (compared to other backsliding regimes) how brazen and transparent Trump is in targeting his "enemies." In Turkey, it would take months and an enterprising journalist to uncover that a university had its funds cut off, a firm blacklisted, contracts rescinded, or thousands fired.

Being too impatient to understand how systems work is Trusk's greatest failing, don't fall into the same anti-intellectual trap.
Something to note.
Congress is run by the seniority system.

Which means the head of committees are determined by who has the longest tenure on the committee and that is it.

It’s not right, but it’s how it works do with that information what you will.

this is the best pov i've seen on this so far tbh, i am v much seeing this thing today as opening the door to people who otherwise might not have realized how varied activism actually is and how many opportunities there are to participate
If someone new to activism tells you about something like Blackout Friday, my feeling is you respond and say, “Cool!” and take part because it costs you nothing, then follow up with “Thanks for telling me about that—do you want to join me on [sustained action]?”

(5/X) It's fun, it's self-sustaining. Is it cringe? Yes, but who cares. Liberals also have a problem of being too cool to approve of anything, of only liking the first album or the unreleased demos.

We need an army of cringe normies to save our country. And I think we've got one on tap.

Sharing these numbers because I wasn't aware of them myself. In the US:

* 1 in 5 unvaccinated people who get measles are hospitalized

* 1 in 20 children with measles get pneumonia

* 1 to 3 in 1000 die

If you're not immune, close contact with an infected person gives you measles 90% of the time
Measles – NFID
Measles is a highly contagious respiratory disease that can result in severe, sometimes permanent, complications including pneumonia, seizures, brain damage, and even death

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote.

There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP

Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.
