Ok yinz: our “favorite” senator who spent *years* trying to legalize recreational weed in PA is now voting against this. Time to light up his phones again with this absolute hypocrisy.
Hey so if you see your senator in this list, could you please call them tomorrow and tell them that you’re mad because they voted to kill the entire hemp farm industry, including your buddy Derek in Oregon?
Thanks, buddy.
Thanks, buddy.
Here are the Senators who voted to criminalize hemp products:

Horrifying long thread 👇
🔥 A former president & a former chairman of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) resigned from ISI’s board on Friday. One of them posted this warning that “conservative institutions are being systematically…undermined by post-liberals who promote a ‘no enemies to the right’ mindset.” 1/

BREAKING: We won!
Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.
Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

Those of us unfortunate to have Sens Fetterman and McCormick, know that Fetterman's office doesn't answer calls or take voice messages. McCormick's staff is more responsive but he always tows Trump line, despite what we, his
actual constituents want him to do.

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

One of my favorite classes ever at Pitt was “Scorsese/Spielberg” and this year has been a great year for someone who loved that class. First the amazing 50th anniversary documentary of Spielberg making Jaws, and now this extended documentary series on Marty Scorsese. I am in heaven!

J’s friend is safely at the airport, boarding in roughly 15 minutes and we missed the egregious amount of inbound traffic due to an accident right before the Sq Hill tunnels (backed up to Wilkinsburg when we passed!)
J’s house guest was able to check in online for his flight back to Vegas this evening. But I am terrified of dropping him off at 3 and getting a frantic text at some point tonight that he’s stuck there with a last-minute cancellation.

Context on #scotus current involvement with the SNAP impasse. 👇
KBJ threaded the needle thanks to CA1’s unfinished business.
-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

The job at Presby is starting to feel real. My physical & 2-weeks of training are scheduled, plus my scrubs ordered, and info received about the employee shuttle and my monthly parking lease. But I’m still terrified this will fall apart like everything else did this year. 🫤
