Hosting Thanksgiving this year, so we finally rearranged furniture and unpacked a bunch of boxes in the front living room.
Amazing how much volume was from books and fragile display items. But now we can use that room.
Also need more bookshelves in the house to unpack the remaining boxes.

First time doing a knife sheath, and it's been a while since I've done any tooling, but love how it turned out. Made a pancake sheath with an inner welt for a small Damascus steel with bone handle knife.

I fully expect to wake up at 3am screaming "AND ANOTHER THING THAT TELLS THIS IS AN OBVIOUS FAKE!!!" and continue this thread for another 10 posts or so.
I can't stop analyzing how bad this is.
The sangles (belt straps) are far too wide. They should sit comfortably within the pontets (the vertical hooks). They're also too wide for the plaques (the hardware on their tips) so the edge paint is obvious, *and the plaques are VERY crooked.*

Can't find my recipe box, but was able to make a kick-ass pork pie mostly from memory. Husband said it's the best one I've ever made. Some of that may be from fudging the ingredients, some of that may be from using different brands of ingredients from what I normally use. But it was so good!
