What a day! The 2nd day of #ABIC_CM2024 flew past! Some highlights include presentations and discussions around microscopy infrastructure, access and advocacy in Africa, and interactive discussions about building visions for the microscopy community & research in Africa.

Session 2 highlighting various networks and initiatives in Africa kicked off strong! We heard from Prof Jeremie Zoueu about AFSINET and the Ivorian Initiative. Then Yaw Aniweh from WAMBIAN gave a strong argument for the power of local communities strengthening basic research in Africa #ABIC_CM24 🇨🇮🔬
