DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.

Many or most of the wars fought by the US since the Second World War have ultimately been to maintain the US-led world order which, on net, has improved more lives than any other. Yes, that also served US interests, but that alignment was designed in, and it was a great thing.
that’s clearly untrue even in recent history, but also, I think the meme exudes a clear contempt for the idea that liberal inclusion and tolerance are important values. you have to steelman that right out of the meme to make it harmless

Why do people find it so hard to understand that the enemy of your enemy can be extremely useful to your goals without you having to fall in love with them. If one of your enemies has turned their attention away from you in order to fight your other enemy, your best move is to get out of the way.
