This is so true. Bluesky isn’t/wasn’t much better- but Twitter used to be a place you could get true real-time info. I remember during Boston marathon shooting being glued to it. Now between AI & assholes, you have to dig thru so much shit to find truth.
The older, pre-Musk Twitter, while not perfect, would have been a useful place to be during and after the Brown shooting.
Now, it's place sowing confusion, conspiracy, misinformation, and harm. It has been wrung of its value and decency.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's son was pulled over by ICE and forced to prove he is an American.
Two options:
1) ICE deliberately targeted him.
2) ICE is stopping all non-White people without any probable cause and forcing them to prove they are citizens.
Hard to say which option is scarier.
