Just finished When the Wolf Comes Home by Nat Cassidy. I find most contemporary horror novel protagonists irritating so you can imagine my trepidation when I realized this one starred an improv comedian.
But this was a really solid read. Thrilling, effectively emotional, and genuinely grisly.

It’s nice to know that as AI imagery continues to dominate our lives I still have thousands of pages of Rumiko Takahashi comics I’ve never read.

I really wish I could agree with the people acting like AI video still looks as bad as it did in 2023, but at this point I think it's safe to say that it will be almost impossible to distinguish from real video within like a year. Immensely depressing.

Just saw an (unfortunately) very convincing looking AI video of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise fighting on a rooftop and I'll never understand why every major movie star isn't suing the absolute shit out of these companies.

It's so surreal to see a working politician who actually cares about normal people.
I think anyone who watches the Netflix One Piece show should be sent to some kind of aesthetic reeducation camp. The idea that anyone could think this slop looks good is unfathomable to me.
