It's so weird being one of the last people who wears a mask. I was at a hospital for three hours today (for normal reasons) and I was the only person wearing a mask. I wanted to lean over to the doctor and be like "motherfucker don't you know this is where the sick people go?"

Best TikTok thing going is the two dudes trying food from every country without leaving NYC. If you haven’t seen them yet, it’s incredible. My favorite so far is last week’s. Legit got me emotional.

Maybe the problem is that not enough radio stations play blues on Sunday.

I can't find the post, but I've been thinking daily about the person who was very excited to have a progress bar printed in a book that changed as you flipped pages, and then a person responded to the post with "you don't need that, the book is the progress bar!"

Can't get it out of my head.

I miss going to websites. Typing in a URL and seeing what's new at the website I like.

This entire article is incredible. Insane startup speak, something called "marriage bounties," and of course matchmakers who quickly reveal themselves to be neo-nazis.

Reposting this just in case you missed it, but also because somehow I forgot to put Keeper on the list, a game I loved dearly in 2025.

Hard to tell if my skeets been real bad or if y'all just been real quiet. The omnipresent feeling that it's just gonna be bad like this forever until each of us shuffles off this mortal coil didn't get in the way of everyone engaging with my content, did it?

Sucks a bit that there's probably no better human art form than the music video. Need to see that Rembrandt directed music video with the Offset feature. Need Charles Dickens to give us his best Hype Williams.

Made my drink too strong and now I'm trying to will a Fortnite/Tinashe collab into existence with the power of gin.

Hey, my Game of the Year list is up! As with every year, I spent a lot of time thinking about this and I'd love for you to read it: ludonarrativedissonance.com/post/8049417...
Game of the Year 2025

the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

My Letterboxd is interesting only because I always try and watch more movies and every year I watch around 150.

Also my top director is making too many bad The Strangers movies perhaps only to win my Letterboxd.

Not trying to see your midlife crisis play out inside the Criterion Closet, bro. Save that shit for Hot Ones.

Drinking too much and playing Yakuza video games, so 2026 confirmed to be the same as every other year for me.

In the end, the most terrifying thing that happened in Stranger Things was the existential passage of time that somehow turns baby children into big dumb adults.

You like using ChatGPT? Good, cuz only time I used it was to seduce your mom. It robbed the ghosts of the best artists who ever lived to write corny shit that made your mommy text me her address. Made her hotter than all the misused GPUs. Drained a naturally occurring river just to make her wet.

Seeing last.fm posts in my feed, I went and checked out the site for the first time in forever, and found the only comment I ever left on someone's last.fm page, 16 years ago.

True story.
