„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

🏠NIMBY's on housing? Not the Greens!

The fact is - local authorities where the Green Party holds a majority build a LOT more housing than any other, and EVEN in councils where we don’t hold the majority, the Greens have come out second only to the SNP!

Turns out the media & most of Parliament is as out of touch with reality as Twitter. Dear England.
Why do people think England flags have been raised on lampposts?

Well yes, but it is a longer term solution.
This Budget cannot be one that punishes households and local businesses. That will not deliver the growth our economy so desperately needs.

If the Chancellor truly wants to unleash growth, there is an obvious answer: she must face reality and secure a better deal with the EU.

If she'd been a Scottish MSP they would be digging up her back garden by now....😏
Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell.

Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass.

That, right there, is the problem.

Rayner is absolute class. She's been a bit silly in organising her taxes, but that's not why they hate her. They hate her because she did not know her place.

Nice to see #BBCNews devoting half an hour to "Immigration: can Farage fix it?"
Tomorrow they'll give 30 minutes to the Green party on the environment, and the LibDems on welfare the next day, won't they? Won't they?

Quite amused to see in report that Reform accuses local politico’s of doing politics.

Yes, traffic cameras work, but it's a myth that people hate them!

Survey after survey shows that most people support automatic enforcement (and often want more of it).

This is a false controversy, fed by a minority of disgruntled drivers & journalists seeking narratives with conflict.
It’s Easy to Hate Traffic Cameras. But They Do Save Lives.
They raise issues of fairness, and critics claim they’re only about revenue. More speed and red-light cameras, however, would prevent a lot of deaths and injuries.

I prosecute and defend the most serious sexual offences in our courts.

The overwhelming majority of offenders are British-born. Overwhelmingly the victim is someone known to them, either a partner or relative.

Anybody purporting to care about protecting women might start there.
