An impressive comparative study on ethnic residential #segregation in Europe. Finnish functional urban areas seem to have rather *high* levels of segregation, but Helsinki FUA has lower level than most other Finnish regions.

Tämän vertailun perusteella Helsingin seudun sosioekonominen segregaatio ei enää ole maltillista eurooppalaisessa vertailussa. Vertailussa ovat mukana vain työlliset ja vertailu perustuu ammattiryhmiin, joten avoimiakin kysymyksiä vielä jää tämän havainnon suhteen.

Vieraskielisten toimeentulotuen saajien määrä on kasvanut hyvin vähän 2017-2024, oikeastaan vain ukrainankielisten verran. Samaan aikaan vieraskielinen väestö on kasvanut. Vieraskielisten osuus toimeentulotuen saajista on kasvanut, koska kotimaisia kieliä puhuvien tuen saajien määrä on pienentynyt.

Toimeentulotuesta korvattavien asumismenojen lainsäädäntö muuttui 1.4.2024, minkä seurauksena Kela ohjasi kotitalouksia etsimään edullisempaa asuntoa.

Kuudesosa muuttamaan ohjatuista muutti, ja asuntoonsa jääneiden taloudellinen tilanne tiukentui.
