KC had the best reg. season in NWSL history. A 21-pt gap atop the table is Lyonnes-in-France dominance, & KC's roster is not 21 points better than the rest.

gotta say these nwsl games on espn/abc have great audio of the crowd, it feels like being there. compared with other broadcasts which don't mic the crowd, those games can feel super quiet and dull at times. the sound makes such a huge difference.

Yeah, she had a few “Louisville has nothing to lose” statements throughout as in them losing and not advancing is somehow different than if the Spirit didn’t. I thought it was kinda weird, but shrugged it off.

supporters have been through a lot following this team, and much of it hasn’t been good. now they have a team they’ve deserved, plus players and a coach who understand the importance of this connection, adore it, and do their part to make it special. everyone here will remember this for a long time.
