We've got a new preprint out on Psyarxiv which explores the causes of the increasing rates of people in mental health treatment. We propose that the underlying epidemiology is of lesser importance here compared to sociocultural issues.

We were able to show that CMHN significantly reduces the risk of hospitalization in Switzerland. However, we could not rule out that this is partly due to a regression to the mean effect. See the paper in the link

In Switzerland we've a similar situation with Springer and Sage. Currently, we cannot access Sage journals. It is imperative to set up diamond access journals which are presumably cheaper to run than paying the hedge fonds driven publishers.

Besides the conflict of interest, most service users prefer working in the general labour market. I don't see the point.
