some of my favorite bits from the "demon years" zine.
i did this in black & white as a fun little side-project while i made ongoing adventures. the idea was to make jokey short comics about tonn's time in the demons' realm, esp exploring her relationship with a demon she'd previously punished.

When you start a new creative project a huge hurdle is feeling like you are letting down your audience.
They don't have the attachment yet, to being outright hostile because it's new therefor they do not connect you with it.

2 days for Jam to start so in the meanwhile I'm progressing with my cellar side project. Changed the camera, added first enemy and some audio, still lots of work with this but it's coming together nicely.

Came up with a nice cast of my project next year. Starting the bulk of the pre-production as much as I can.
Putting faces on side characters was very helpful. Helps me in write the characters. I already know how Lex, Max and Eclair's characters are gonna so it's gonna be fun working on the others.

The business side is a disaster but it's like the Washington Post: it's an ideological project that is a rounding error to its owners wealth so we're just fucking stuck with it.
