I go by Vandy, I’m a hobbyist illustrator with a particular enjoyment of drawing monsters and all sorts of manner of creatures. I am currently collaborating on a series of children’s books called ADVENTURE ACE. I also love to make my own original characters and other cartoonish nonsense.

In some fun news I actually got set up to do an authors meet and greet at my local bookstore on small business Saturday. Excited to get to promote the book in the store I used to buy all my Goosebumps books from growing up.

Man, Battle for Bikini Bottom is incredibly fun. I never played the original so Rehydrated is my first time playing the game at all but it gets so much right about platforming and of course using the characters.

I have harsh feelings regarding this, particularly towards Gen X if I’m being honest because when I think of the people who made me ashamed to like the things I like and seemed to encourage the “it’s stupid to care about things” mindset it was always the people older than me. It was pretty damaging
There's a whole generation that learned irony before sincerity and now they're trapped. Can't be earnest without a layer of self-deprecation. Can't be enthusiastic without signaling awareness of how cringe enthusiasm is.
