I go by Vandy, I’m a hobbyist illustrator with a particular enjoyment of drawing monsters and all sorts of manner of creatures. I am currently collaborating on a series of children’s books called ADVENTURE ACE. I also love to make my own original characters and other cartoonish nonsense.
I’m surprised no one has ever taken another shot at making a game like Black & White. The game was a mess but it was a unique one, one that could really benefit from another go with more modern sensibilities. The creature component alone would be a big sell with kaiju fans.

Honestly the fact that artists are even in the position where they have to choose between losing their biggest platform or have their work at the mercy of ai remixing because of said platform is indicative of how low the value of art as a whole has gotten to people.

Picked up both Dragon Quest remakes and I’m excited to finally dive deeper into the franchise. Started III and it’s been neat so far. The way characters speak will never cease to make me laugh

As I’ve grown to understand my abilities and limitations regarding art a key thing I’ve done is pull back on the lore components of the weird universe with Luna and everyone and accepted my strengths lie in comedy and slapstick which is why i really don’t delve into much with my oc’s

2025 has been a year. The state of the world continues to be a constant source of dread and frustration but while I have been more reclusive I do feel it’s been a positive as I’ve dug deeper into my artwork and continue to improve.
