swim goggles are pressurized; they're not necessarily shatterproof. their function is limited to the pool: please, please, do not wear them in any situation where crowding or violent confrontation may result!

Shatterproof glasses are having a YEAR, okay?!

Some folks in the most intense areas are taking more traditional protest precautions, and I'd like to see more (shatterproof) goggles in general here, but respirators for instance trap moisture on your skin and are uncomfortable for many people in freezing weather for extended periods.

I took down all the Christmas decorations except for the tree. I've got the purple and green bulbs out front, and I'm waiting for Hector the door skeleton's Mardi Gras skirt and my shatterproof large bead garland to put around the front door.

Preparing for the de-tree manoeuvres: repacking this year’s unused (base) ornaments, sorted by colour and finish. New clear vinyl zip bags and a new larger bin. With luck the smaller bin will be used for something else.

I think they blunt knives too. Not sure they're dangerous per see, they're normally shatterproof glass, but they are a pain!

When an ornament says it’s ’SHATTERPROOF’ that’s a challenge

Because it keeps getting mentioned- I never recommend using eye screws and ties to the wall/ceiling.

These can and do cause serious and fatal injuries to cats. Your cat may be fine. I’d hate it if they ended up being not fine.

Weights at the base and shatterproof ornaments give bling and safety

shatterproof ornaments. If you have good carpet, you can probably get away will some glass ornaments.

Also, no tinsel. Never use tinsel on anything if you have cats. Or the spray on snow. Also if you have a fresh tree, keep the water for the tree covered so the animals don’t drink it.

😹 Uh oh Malcy! Firstly, I need to apologise, as that made me LOL a lot (sorry!). 😹 I thought it was going oh so well with the big box distraction. But boy was I wrong. I don’t have any suggestions as to how to stop them. Just maybe wedge the tree & shatterproof baubles! ❤️❤️❤️
