Probably Southern Polypody on a wall in Polruan #Cornwall today. It's rather rare, so to be sure I took a frond and will later look at it under a microscope to confirm or otherwise. P. interjectum and vulgare nearby too. Plenty of info on it at fermanagh.bsbi.org/polypodium-c...

After Fowey I took the ferry over to Polruan.

I say ferry in the loosest of terms! It’s basically just a small motorboat. But it did the job nicely.

The remains of a sunset and the moon are over Polruan which sits at the mouth of the River Fowey and is opposite the town of Fowey. The water is covered with beautiful ripples and some reflections.
