My abstract painting is based on my guitar. The background is watercolour with acrylic paint to make the patterns. The guitars are painted wet on wet blended watercolour. I used pen and pencil for the strings, guitar outlines and gel pen for the frets.

I mentioned the other day in a post that, in certain lights, the bracken on fells in the Lake District glow red. I found my photo to show this.

My background of the sky, sea and sand I painted in watercolour. I used coloured card for the beach huts. The fence is cut out paper and cotton. Sea grass is made from watercolor painted paper cut with a craft knife.
