#platner
I look at Platner as a person with a very troubled past, and he is willing to admit to all of his mistakes. I am looking at the platform he is suggesting and comparing against Mills and Collins. He has the best platform, of course.

Mills also was in Portland during this most recent ice attack, and Platner had prepped people about ICE and the fact that he was leaving for a bit.

Hopefully I'm wrong. She's not perfect, but seems capable of shutting down a fascist.
And doesn't screech trojan horse like Platner does.

Article "Its easy to see why Mills was pushed into the race"--No source. (Is it b/c its only the Platner campgn?) These are things that 1st began to turn me&others away. Seems sexist too. You know how Trp projects his own issues onto oppo as strategy? GP has done this a few times too. Unworthy.

Do you really think Platner's gigantic cash haul is all small, in-state donations? It must also be noted that at least Mills was in the country (in a state filled with leadership that is very familiar with governing under ICE attack) while Maine was being invaded. Platner was in Europe.

They need the money and press. Maine and TX will sort themselves out. In both states it’s about turnout and motivating the base. In OH and Iowa it’s letting people know it’s actually in play. We will flip Maine with either Mills or Platner.

Plot twist..Graham Platner hasn't changed.
February 3, 2026 at 10:13 PM
"a Democratic establishment that many voters view with suspicion" is quite dishonest wrt this election and Maine.
It's boilerplate campaign speech for Platner et al. Dishonest to try to pass this article off as journalism about Maine voters.

Good ad for Graham Platner
Susan Collins is at the White House for the Republican humiliation ritual

I'm donating monthly to Kat's campaign, from MA. Also Graham Platner (ME) and James Talarico (TX). The ones who aren't taking corporate PAC/AIPAC money need a broad base of small donors to have a chance at competing.

Really hope we can come up with a better candidate than Mills or Platner in Maine… this is a prime pickup opportunity that was blown the last time (Gideon) and taking control of the senate is crucial

Dateline, Portland ME: Wow! Just off the phone with Bernie Sanders' office in DC. A fellow there named Dylan seemed very reluctant to even address, let alone confirm, any future joint appearances between Sanders and Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner.

The Maine U.S. Senate primary is on June 9.

I agree. Also, I don’t know if you saw this, but someone mentioned to me apparently mills actually raised more money in Maine than Platner despite him raising more money overall. I think someone said he had more unique donors. But not sure they came from Maine. Either way she got more in state money

Wow, @ms.now is sure giving a lot of free press to Janet Mills. It's not enough she's handpicked and financed by Schumer to help fend off Platner, who has promised to not vote for Schumer, now MS.Now is going to help as much as possible. @weeknightmsnow.bsky.social

Having not read the article (yet), I think moderation helped a lot when things were, well, moderate. But we live in interesting times now & we're people starving for a person of action, not platitudes about incremental change.
Which is why I really have my eye on Platner v Mills,
February 3, 2026 at 7:02 PM
Fetterman, Platner, Gallego
February 3, 2026 at 7:01 PM
A lot of progressives are very upset with that. Schumer wants Mills, but the progressives want Platner. Who's got a very cloudy past history. That Blackwater past won't go away easily. I dont know exactly what to think of it. My natural inclination is to not trust him.

So run better candidates. Leftist keep coalescing around racist losers like Bernie, Jill Stein, and racist also-rans like Talerico and Platner.

I'm happy that Mamdani won his race vs. Cuomo and I think it's white leftists, in fact, who have lessons to learn from his victory.
February 3, 2026 at 6:46 PM
You endorsed Graham Platner last August. Do you still support him?
February 3, 2026 at 6:40 PM
Hogg has lost 3 of six elections over the course of the last 12 months. Also, he endorsed Graham Platner, ew.
February 3, 2026 at 6:35 PM
More hype because bullshit hype & PR is ALL he has.

He does not have:

1. A Resume
2. Progressive History
3. Political Strategy
4. Local Money (most of his funds are from out of state & corporations)

He does have: a Nazi tattoo that still exists (just covered up). ... lazy af.

It is a cultural failure but an understandable one. We all got so much shit to do and folks yelling for our attention so if politicians don't also, they just get ignored. But Mills has to actually get out there or she's losing either to platner or collins cause they at least understand that.
February 3, 2026 at 6:29 PM
bernie sanders is a zionist piece of shit.

aoc is so spineless, she’s become as sociopathic as schumer.

platner is LITERALLY a neonazi serial killer who wishes he could’ve manifested destiny and commit genocide on native americans.

mamdani is lowkey a traitor to palestine..

they’re all useless
