Pros and cons.
Cons. There was a pub in Cyprus with a gents at the top of spiral stairs. Absolute nightmare when you'd had a few.
Pros. Lighthouses would look mad going sideways.

Truly unreal work of terror, elevated only by seeing it in IMAX. Kubrick’s obsessive craft means that this is such a finely constructed, immaculately captured nightmare spiral of cycles of abuse, sustaining the tension from frame one. God, what an experience this was in IMAX.
Possibly my final rep screening in a year where I ended up seeing a LOT of older films in cinemas.

Poor S is obviously stressed out but not just because of his mom but also his youngest brother, who is so reliant on her still, we know will spiral the fuck out. He's already had a couple of meltdowns over this.
Add in R's health issues & it's a fucking nightmare

I don't have anxiety. For most of my life this has been foreign to me. "It's not a problem until it's a problem" is how I live my life. But the rest of my family suffers from anxiety. My wife, kids, MIL, brother - everyone. That anxiety spiral is a nightmare. Some days I feel like Hodor.
