I thought I'd do a test stream of some ambient noodlings last night. On the DL since it's the first one and could be messy.
And it was indeed very messy. In part because this guy decided to make himself one with the Model:Samples for the duration. Made things a bit more tricky than necessary.

I cannot overstate how important the Model:Samples is to my music these days (when I remember to make any!) bit of a learning curve, but deceptively complex and fun to use

The aim of this project is to essentially recreate my (very minimal) musical setup in iPad form, starting with my beloved Elektron Model:Samples. Not easy given how complex that thing is, but I got retrigs working so I’m happy!

Attempted to write something on the model:samples in 7/8 for the first time (though this might actually be 7/4?🤷🏻♂️)

Swapped some music equipment to pick this up. It replaces a Model:Samples I tinkered with but didn't use too much. I'm eager to learn the workflow & know about its steep learning curve. The best equipment to have in the studio are things you'll use all the time. Here's hoping this gets used a lot!

I traded an Elektron Model:Samples for my DB Impact and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. Great piece of kit, especially with a couple of pedals. I love running the kick through an EHX Platform compressor and driving it

Yes, I used to be obsessed with my Allen & Heath Brunel Inpulse One - I've owned two, out of about 140 made! Parted ways with it last year after the repairs got beyond my ability. I don't know what counts these days out of Model:samples, Circuit or EP-133 but mostly use OP-1 or OP-Z to compose now.

I found a great metal lathe sound on the BBC SFX archive and chopped it up into a groove. Some LFOs in the model:samples on additional dicing duty.
