Before I start again, I want to make a thread of what I learned from my previous attempt. And what I’m expecting now.

My last guitar obsession started with buying these patch cables.

And lasted for almost a year with a big dive into the YouTube creators lifestyle.

And now when the summer ended, I’m thinking of going back again.

It’s kind of a nostalgia after 9 months of silence.
Hello little fellas.

I haven't been here for 4 months. At the beginning of this year, I've got a bit overwhelmed with the music and all the stuff around.

And it was a big relief to leave playing guitar or doing any related.

But last month I started practicing live with my friend, playing our punk stuff.

I started a Guitar Pedals feed about a year ago.

During the first 10 month, it got first 10 likes, which felt as a huge success.

Then just in next 2 months it got 110+ likes.

And I'm happy to see people using it, and hopefully finding it helpful.

Thank you so much for contributing to it!

Okay, posting a video in Christmas Eve wasn't the best idea. But Strymon seemed to be one of the few who watched it on YouTube

I found this sound while tweaking my Strymon BlueSky settings, and the moment I heard it, I realized it sounds like a Christmas thing.

So here it is.

I’m thinking about getting a second reverb pedal.

Has anyone tried the Walrus Sloer or the Strymon Cloudburst?

The two main things I’m looking for are stereo functionality and some unconventional algorithms.

I’d love to hear your suggestions and experiences—thanks in advance!

New Wordpress is really cool.

When I create a new website for my music projects, I usually spend a few days looking for a new theme. But today I looked at some features on the default Twenty Twenty-Five theme and it has everything.

Good typography, crazy color schemes, slick layouts. Just awesome!

When bands start out as rock bands and then go fully pop (like Maroon 5 or Coldplay) I like to imagine that they still tell the electric guitar player to record something so he feels like he’s contributing, then just turn him down to 0 in the final mix

Once a year, I come across Jessie Cannon’s videos on YouTube and think, “What a genius.”

But then I start watching another one and get completely lost in all his ideas.

Ok, what to do next?

I started my YouTube channel and all news socials around a year ago. Surprisingly numbers of followers are almost similar across all of them:

Instagram: 102
Bsky: 96
YouTube: 113

Even though the algorithms on each platform are very different, it’s interesting to see such a correlation.

Thanks to @gloomcaster.bsky.social who spotted the issue with hashtags pn the guitar pedal feed. It now should be fixed (if I not messed up it again in between of refreshing)

Are there any alternatives to Chase Bliss pedals in a better price to make proper blips, blops and glitch effects?

Thanks, ‪@mike-dw.bsky.social‬ for suggesting this feed!
It’s so great to see people finding it helpful!
Such an open ended question and there will be almost as many answers as there are people!

First thought is that I would sign up to this feed (bsky.app/profile/did:...) and ask the question!

My following thoughts to follow…

The cutest thing I saw on the internet
Effects Bakery Guitar Pedals

These guitar pedals from Japan have a bread-based mascot design in each product that just looks so so cute~

They are also quite affordable so I'm definitely saving up for this~

My second video on YouTube just hit 1,000 views!

Thank you all for watching it. I remember playing this composition with my friends back in 2014—we’d just get lost in the music together.

100 subscribers on my youtube channel.

There are quite a few people from Bluesky who supported me and subscribed to my channel. I really appreciate it.

I thought that I would get to this number at least by the end of this year, but it happened much faster.

Thanks for your support!

The new video is out, and I wanted to share the pedals settings I used for it.

This time, I introduced the Big Muff for the solo, blending it with a lot of reverb so the attack dissolves a bit, giving it a feel almost like an e-bow. I really like this effect—it’s very enjoyable to play with.

Also my new guitar ambient/post-rock video is out youtu.be/PYfIM4d4MVY . It took me some time to make a new setup with the camera, so I will be glad if you will check it out!

Two things I’ve learned today:

1. Too much of reverb can be a problem
2. Check your t-shirt before filming a video
