Starfleet is in a constant state of temporal flux. Sometimes a 24th century ship will sport interiors that are seemingly unchanged since the 2270s, and then sometimes the Enterprise-A has 24th century LCARS panels in Engineering and Sickbay. I'm beginning to suspect it's all some kind of production.

Hell, maybe you worked at the Trump administration literally banning the LCARS style on AI: One even think would kill people.

Installed an LCARS panel today for the little ship that could.

I love all Trek and also the whole TNG aesthetic, but operating a starship via LCARS would likely be as easy as driving a car by navigating iPhone menus.

Tasha Yar, of the Yar Yar sisterhood of the travelling pants, i assume.... Anywho, super quick one....actually it would have been, if i didn't decide to trace in that LCARS in the bg. Kinda like the messy lines, what say you all? too lazy looking? IDK. #STTNG #tashayar #startrek

I lent this to my dad about 5 years ago and he lost it. He found it today in the back of a cupboard and it's finally back home.

That LCARS always looks so out of place in the movie. I see they also have the much-used wall-plug to the left of it, which is blocking off the corridor to the Doctor’s office.

The Enterprise-A's sickbay in "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier"⬆️ really looked futuristic when Scotty woke (oops!) up after hurting his head in a Jefferies tube. It even featured LCARS displays and control buttons vaguely similar to the ones in use in season 2 of #StarTrekTNG ("Shades of Gray"⬇️).

I do love the way the LCARS display shifts into the deck view thing but I'm kinda not really that sure what playing this looks/feels like from the trailer? The Steam page has a little more info, but even then I don't get what you "do" moment to moment

This Star Trek superfan spent countless hours building an authentic LCARS control panel from Tuvok's quarters. It's got working touchscreens, proper sound effects, and everything. The dedication is absolutely unreal 🖖 https://oddlyenough.news/article/4f337535-ed48-4572-8f62-27deb2984338

My ONLY (admittedly nitpicky) complaint about the comic series is that they use the same stardate on the inside cover of every issue even though Badger’s text and credits are updated.
