#laboring
There are still people reaching out to me for anonymous crowdfunding support. I stopped doing the anonymous shit because it drained me. Because I got tired of laboring for free and too often at my own expense. I risked being flagged for laundering or fraud, and didn’t know until well after.

You seem to be also be laboring under the belief that the majority of gun control proponents believe strict controls solve the problem; they don't. This shitty country treating mental heath seriously is another huge piece of the puzzle needed to reduce our gun violence obsession.

Good news for higher education from this survey on employers' views. Bottom line: big majority of employers value what we do and want more of it. Those of us laboring away at small liberal arts colleges need this encouragement!

He had access to the files before and after the FBI scrubbed them.
They don't have the staff to hunt traffickers of drugs and humans but 1,000 agents to modify and delete records from an investigation that took years and an incredible number of hours laboring was no problem.

I rescued and reseasoned two carbon steel pans for a community kitchen. The fried egg test was passed with flying colors!

While laboring on these pans I dreamt of a society that levies extraction taxes on new goods and rewards tax reduction points for keeping items from being thrown out.

In the 1889 essay, he allows that while it may be "desirable theoretically" that "it is a nobler ideal that man should labor, not for himself alone, but in and for a brotherhood of his fellows," it's too scary and inconvenient to contemplate revolution — and anyway, capitalism is where we're at...

Do YOU know how fractions work?

3/210 Democrats (that's 1.4%) of Democrats voted for this terrible bill.

213/217 Republicans (that's 98.2%!) of Republicans did.

You seem to be laboring under an assumption that Democrats CONSPIRATORIALLY AND DELIBERATELY add to the regressive vote to help it pass.

His physical attrition and mental degradation can no longer be hidden or distracted from. His body is rapidly breaking down, laboring with simple tasks, hemorrhaging energy, and riddled with the unmistakable tells of a man whose systems are failing...

So you never know what authoritatively-issued misinformation a newbie writer might be laboring under. And seeing an alternative in print might not be enough to shake off the idea that a widely-used technique is "wrong" because Professor MFA or Workshop Guy said so. (4/4)

She meant, I suppose, to torture me, just as I tortured her — yet, all this time, she was laboring under a misunderstanding.
I never once meant to torture her, and neither did I wish to hurt her.
Why would I do that, when I loved her so much?

The "male loneliness epidemic", this big problem that we're expected to solve for men, isn't that they're "isolated" or "lonely", it's that they're angry that they were told they were entitled to a subservient, domestic laboring fuck toy, and less and less women are being coerced into that role.

I love laboring under the assumptions that I can just heal people’s trauma and mental illness just by talking or giving them a vague “evaluation” with no formal goals/outcomes, especially in a setting with no real scheduling/referral process and I never know when supervision is happening, it’s great

In November 1771, Jack and Venus made their way to the Great Dismal Swamp. After laboring there 2 years under John Washington (brother of George) they hoped this site of their enslavement would now offer refuge.

Read Tony Bly’s brilliant telling of their story: freedom-seekers.org/story/jack-a...

Because this is a Christian country? Anyway... With high automation, there would be no need to close, or coerce people into laboring on days they do not wish to work.

You seem to be laboring under the idea that I want them on my side. Just because somebody has realized that Trump doesn't work for them while they still support all of the other hateful members of his regime doesn't mean they've had a change of heart.

The world's idea machine is simply artists able to art freely, rather than laboring for continued permission to survive.

Oligarchs want this to be a new way to disempower people, because sharing a compelling idea is the most powerful thing a person can do. They want a valve on the rain.
