(I believe this term, and its prevalent counterpart, should be kept out of most discourse, as they are typically misapplied, or at least have been batted about to the point of inutility.)

私もこれは学校教育、家父長制、ひいては国家の問題（戦前戦中問題）だと考えてはいるけれど、そう言えば言うほどかえってその議論自体が説得力や効力を失って、議論を擦り合わせられずにやめるべき部分をやめてもらえないとも思わされた。今、同時進行で初期近代におけるinutility of a humanist educationに関する議論を読み返しているので、ちょっと悲観に向いているし。
I am perfectly happy to admit that I made a mistake and assumed your 100% contextless post was at least partially about USA. But just as the rise of fascism is worldwide, the absolute inutility of the modern "left" is global. German "Palestine supporters" like Australian ones, were in common cause.

Search functions for the various traditional news apps that I use have always been a disaster. If I put in the actual title of the article, and it doesn’t pop up, your search is trash. This sounds like a tragic descent further into complete inutility.

imagine if the increasing inutility of phone-based opinion polling is what gets effective laws against the various phenomena destroying the phone call passed
I appreciate listing the number of calls they had to put in to get that many results because it speaks at once to the immense logistical problem that is sinking polling and it suggests exactly how unrepresentative the people answering the phone are
