There's a scene in Hollywoodland where Affleck does a series of facial poses/expressions on cue for various qualities---fearful, heroic, etc.
It's brilliant but it's also his whole career in a nutshell. You're ALWAYS aware he's "acting."

Initially, the Hollywoodland hillside development proved to be a tough sell, but we can see that by 1926, that was no longer the case. Those foothills began to fill up with all sorts of interesting homes, including the one near the middle of this photo, complete with a turret.
