Eisnenhower jacket for the WIN, Kat. That should be the official garment of the revolution.
Thank you @genzforchange.org and @votersoftomorrow.org , who both do incredible work to engage young people in politics and civics. I’m beyond honored to have their support!

Topical though its title may sound, Harold Brodkey’s 1992 essay “Notes on American Fascism” probably couldn’t be published today.

The vacancy rate is roughly accurate — it was 29.3% in July 2025, down from nearly 34% in 2023. So the ~28% figure is in the ballpark, and the trend is actually improving for the first time in a decade. But there is no Miracle Mile.

once we establish free healthcare as a basic human right protected by the Constitution, the insurance companies can still make their nut by writing policies for everybody's guns.

personally I think we should expand the second amendment to define a well-regulated militia as compulsory military service. that would shut these assholes up.

nobody is talking about why insurance companies are allowed to suddenly triple and quadruple the rates. this is the flaw of the ACA. it was never a good plan. it was always in service of corporate insurance billionaires. they will never be held accountable under this system. get fucking angry.

The ACA is a lean to built against a mansion owned by a health insurance billionaire. it's a little better than nothing but the entire Oedipus needs to be ripped out and replaced with healthcare for everyone.
My family was told 6 years ago to raise $50,000. dollars for our son to be added to a lung transplant list.
This money was in attention to insurance paying for the surgery.
Healthcare sucks in this country ,we just lost any chance of changing it last night and protecting the ACA
We were shit on.

You know what would end wars? you know what would keep people from saying thank you for your service? Make military service compulsory for every American who is 18. 2 years in the service. In exchange for this free college and healthcare for life. it would change the military for the better too.

Banning assault rifles is A dumb idea. The only part of an AR that has a serial number is the lower receiver and guns are deadly regardless of the caliber. Instead I propose that we regulate the fuck out of them. Mandatory training and liability insurance.
Make gun ownership expensive.

I say expand SCOTUS TO 21. 7 justices to sit for hearings and it be a roulette. You don’t know what justices will hear your case. Makes it harder to bribe them.

End Citizens United, limit election season like Europe does, strictly limit donations to candidates, eliminate dark money, provide matching funds, term limits for everyone in Congress, close the revolving doors—in short, #ENDTHECORRUPTION

Kurt Vonnegut famously wrote that Armistice Day was sacred to him, but Veterans' Day was meaningless.
Americans glorify war, and are one of the most combative nations in the modern world (look at our "defense" budget as proof).
Armistice Day celebrates the end of war; Veterans' Day perpetuates it.
