#ecogeek
Time to promote ecogeek! Pick one of the products on the store and explain why it is preferable to the name brand less eco friendly competitors.

Waiting for an EcoGeek Spray Bottle restock. I would also love a non-foaming bottle for my free & clear seventh generation dish soap. 🌱

Awesome socks & undies, I fear. But I aspire to ecogeek levels of functioning

@thegooddotstore.bsky.social so, should we expect more of those ecogeek spray bottles ever again? I LOVE mine and want more! @hankgreen.bsky.social

Right! A friend recently recommended the EcoGeek detergent. Gonna go look into switching.

Consider good.store? It’s one of Hank Green’s projects, all the profits go to charity. I’ve mostly used the EcoGeek cleaning products. Most of their cleaners are sold dehydrated to make shipping easier.

Feel free to use my referral link if you try it out. oken.do/wn5q6tv3

I know Hank's trying, but it's still funny that the EcoGeek spray bottles and soap dispensers are on sale when they've been sold out almost since launch.

Thought I had: how well would it work if you used the EcoGeek tablets for the main wash and the powder for the pre-wash?

I presume similar results, but maybe it would be the right mix of convenience and effectiveness for some folks.

Those boxes are lines with plastic. But I agree about the price of the EcoGeek stuff. I might try it, but I feel like it should be half the cost at most.

I used powder for a long time thanks to you but recently switched back precisely because, as you mention, store brand powder formulation just isn’t very good. For £12 I get 74 pods/16p per. By contrast EcoGeek is £33.60 (w/shipping) for ~40 washes/84p per. Sadly for Brits it works out >5x the cost

I do struggle with the ecogeek brand, the $26 pricetag is really tough to justify when a mainstream powder brand can be bought for $7 online and comes in a non-plastic box for a much larger size.

@thegooddotstore.bsky.social Yo! When are we going to get and EcoGeek bottle brushes? I have a need to purchase a bottle brush that isn't going to break within 3 months, or lie to me about replaceable parts that are impossible to get.
