I enjoy getting around by bike, mountain biking, native plants, fruit and vegetable gardening, dogs, snakes, alt-rock (especially from the '90s), and anything else that is good!

I love the beautiful Art Deco facade of this building at 75 John Wesley Dobbs Ave in Downtown Atlanta!

Built in 1930 by architect G. Lloyd Preacher for the Freeman Ford car dealership, it's was converted to apartments in 1996.

A car dealership converted to homes! Very cool.

I had to pick up something in town today and I decided it would also be a good opportunity to liberate some trees from invasive English Ivy in one of our parks.

We got our once every few years snow today (although it also snowed last year :P). This time it rained beforehand so when it snowed it stuck to the trees which is always kinda cool.

Atlanta's sidewalks would make for a great urban mountain bike course. That's probably not a good thing, but I like to think positively. 😛

Over the holiday my family rode bikes to a local coffee shop for lunch and then played disc golf after. My sister even towed her dog in a trailer for the first time which went reasonably well all things considered. Bikes make everything better.

We've really failed as a society when people have exhausts on their cars so loud that you can hear them from hundreds of feet away while you're inside a car yourself.
