DFL should be paying people to organize and use the DFL platform to push back the fascist agenda. This influencer garbage is gonna look superficial (it always does). Minnesotans have seen their neighbors get snatched up, fuck you mean you’re giving me a tik tok dance to GOTV?

I hope The Minneapolis Fire Department would be as worried about driverless vehicles clogging the public right of way during an emergency as they are about trying to place a bollard in a bike lane entrance to prevent cars from driving in it.
PG&E is having a massive outage in San Francisco. Waymo robots aren't handling the traffic light outages well. Cell service is also out is some places.

No surprise as Waymo robots & cell have repeatedly failed during power outages.

CPUC regulates both Waymo and PG&E (Profit Greed & Explosions).

one nice thing about most people using AI to compose thoughts is that if you actually write something real people are like holy shit your writing is amazing how did you do that

My father-in-law is a pedestrian. It is difficult to get his attention on a busy street because he is lost in wonder. We were on Nicollet together years ago and I asked him what it would cost to walk like we did in the past today. I will never forget his answer: We can’t, we don’t know how to do it

Sidewalks are failed infrastructure. The most vulnerable pedestrians use the roadway, which is actually cleared of snow/ice (often by plowing it onto adjacent sidewalks) and stays cleared because it’s designed to.
I just saw someone riding a motorized wheelchair in the bus lane on Lake St... presumably because the curb cuts are making the sidewalks impassable.

The bus lane is probably safer than general traffic lane, but everything about it is so unfair and a major accessibility issue.

I'm pretty sure some company's marketing AI hallucinated a person who they think lives with me and is now sending them mail.

On Thursday, the Minneapolis Pedestrian Advisory Committee passed it's 3rd resolution urging the city to work with MnDOT to remove obstructions blocking the sidewalks underneath Hiawatha Ave and 35W and 31st St. E.

Note seen on the midtown greenway. I definitely hate copper thieves but not going to murder anyone over it. Get a bike light or go to therapy.

I'm so grateful for all the current and former members on the Minneapolis Pedestrian Advisory Committee for caring as much as they do about pedestrian safety. It may seem mundane but walking should not be a life and death matter.
