Celebrating the season by indulging in the laser-animated spectacle of a hippopotamus vibrating apart in excitement projected on the side of a nuclear cooling tower, in accordance with ancient tradition.

If your 2 year old has a persistent habit of hurling small objects, maybe stop handing him small, heavy and/or fragile objects in other people's homes. Save the learning experiences for your own place.

As a wise elder, I know there's always room for pie.
i only have one true pie take: 99% of the time i'd rather eat more dinner than save space for dessert because i am not a child

Sleepover at my house tonight, and the visiting lads (8 & 12) have chosen split pea soup over mac and cheese for dinner!?

Need some solid synonyms for "community" to mean this small town, the surrounding countryside that is attached to this small town, and the tribe that is adjacent to and intertwined with this small town. People are going to start drinking games based on my repetitive-ass speeches.

Today I announced an agreement between Washington state, Oregon, and British Columbia to renew and strengthen our partnership.

Together, the Cascadia region will address housing affordability, invest in clean energy, and create the conditions for long-term economic growth.

This thing has been a landmark/eyesore for as long as I've lived in the area. Right along I5 between Seattle and Portland, it always had some new hateful, deranged, and/or nonsensical conservative slogan to share.

The Chehalis tribe bought it recently, and has turned the tide.

Just placed our annual-ish grower-direct pecan order. With shipping we're paying about $4/lb for the nicest, sweetest, wild-type pecan pieces. Just checked, and the cheapest possible option from the local grocery is over $11/lb.

Last of the 2025 tomatoes laid out in the overheated guest room with a fan to ripen. Now we watch for the pinkening.

Today marks 20 years since I ground up on a hot guy I ended up sharing a bed with in a crowded hotel room on a group trip.

Tacky? Maybe. But I know an opportunity when I see it.

As he's gently snoring next to me right now, it was clearly the correct move.

We had a body, like a body-body, dumped at the foot of our driveway on an unlit forest road in timber country.
we talk a lot about finding porn in the woods but nobody ever talks about the trash bags filled with leftover gore, bones, and body parts that people hide the tension surrounding the tentative probe to make sure it's deer and not guy before you call it in is I think key to the experience

Ah country living! Where you go to pull the guest towels out of the linen closet and find them lovingly layered with a cache of beans stolen from the spare room where the seeds are stored.

At least they didn't chew up the towels.

It's worth noting that the credit score system replaced "the banker likes the cut of your jib, and makes a gut judgement about giving you a loan"

Calling to kill it has to come with suggesting a specific better thing, or else we revert to THAT.

It's not my noblest impulse, but all the people in my area fretting about taxes just makes me want to vote new taxes on them harder.

Don't wanna contribute? Too bad.
