This thing has been a landmark/eyesore for as long as I've lived in the area. Right along I5 between Seattle and Portland, it always had some new hateful, deranged, and/or nonsensical conservative slogan to share.

The Chehalis tribe bought it recently, and has turned the tide.

My mom got one for my son, and this has been here since he was about 5 or 6 (now 13).

I made my own marascino cherries from cherries I picked myself with no dye or nothin', and they were good. This is a Shirley Temple made with a couple of tablespoons of the syrup. That pretty pink is all natural cherry color.

Alas, we ate the cherries already, so no garnish.

State of the stuff right now. Garlic, multiplier onions, Ozette and Yukon Gold potatoes, lettuce. We just planted out the tomatoes today, too.
