Caving is actually voting for bad things. Basically every Democrat made sure the appropriation bills they voted for was not full of anti-transgender language. Bills and what laws they vote for is what important for 90% of congresspeople, not what they focus on social media.

I wonder if the new DHS spokesperson will just pick up the rote line and claim that detainees are receiving adequate medical care, education and food. It's obviously a lie, and now that a court has ruled that Congresspeople can inspect on demand, maybe DHS will have to clean up their act.

Too many congresspeople do not show up to votes, and if they do show up, they are not invested in listening or working actively on behalf of constituents. It is disgusting. (Remember that congressperson who was coloring a digital coloring page while another congressperson was on the podium?)
