Sydney is one of the few cities in the world that deals with its sewage pumped 2-4km out to sea via the three deepwater ocean outfalls (DOOFs) at Malabar, Bondi and North Head. When washed back to shore this attracts bait fish which in turn attracts bullsharks.

Oh good coffee. A bunny is scarier than a shark. Trust me on this, bullsharks can't ve everywhere. Bunnies can.

After seeing the bullsharks, the whitetips seemed pretty tame. We kept our distance, and they basically ignored us, but they were still cool to see.

While bullsharks do?

But bullsharks are cunts. Great whites have a bad rep but they don't mean to target us.

You're more likely to get hit by a bus than to encounter one.

You get them more frequently around adelaide, etc.

It's not great whites that should keep you up at night. It's the bullsharks. They go into rivers as well as the sea. They're vicious.

Tigers aren't very cuddly either. But bullsharks..

Yes they can, if we go by the Lake Nicaragua and Amazonian bullsharks.

Spannend!

Sharks are so damn fascinating! So have bullsharks adapted themselves by also being able to live in fresh water. Or Greenland sharks which potentially can become 500 years old. I always love this kind of stuff of course, and bringing a shark into tonic immobility is certainly on my bucketlist!

That bullsharks have been found "hundreds of miles" from the coast is unnerving.
February 14, 2025 at 6:10 AM
Is that true? If this isn’t true then it’s the smartest non-truth I’ve prob ever heard! Hmm if it’s true, then seagulls & bullsharks should get together as bull sharks can swim in either as well. But lol bull sharks pee excess salt out their bums when they move from salt to sweet water.Yup. Truth.👍💫
