I’m a day behind so here’s my report! I paired this jam with some homemade Norwegian Christmas bread and *chefs kiss.* I can see how this jam is polarizing with the subtle banana taste. It’s slightly too sweet for me on its own, but is great on bread. 8/10.

Our vegan Christmas meals. Homemade pitta bread with hummus, falafel, etc for lunch and then Aldi’s no-beef wellington for dinner. Both sooo delicious. Be caring this Christmas, keep animals off your plates! 🎄❤️ #veganfood #veganchristmas

Family christmas :)
Photo taken before the spring rolls, and turkey were added to the table... ( I thought everything was there and didn't have time to take another picture xD)

Tip: That was only half of everything, and there were even desserts after, and we even got some hors d'oeuvre before.

Wow! It’s been a crazy, busy, great day! Sold out of ALL my books and now back home to celebrate with hot chocolate with marshmallows, my homemade walnut, chocolate chip pumpkin bread, and petit fours straight from Paris, France! And I’ll be watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation…🥰

We have a big turkey dinner Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day there is a Chinese food order sitting in the fridge for everyone to eat.
We'll have homemade beans and homemade bread for New Years.
a chop suey palace restaurant with a car parked in front
Alt: A scene from the movie A Christmas Story, set in the 1940s. The neighbour's dogs have eaten the family's Christmas turkey, and so the family ended up at the local Chinese restaurant (it was the only thing open on Christmas Day). The movie is from the 1980s, and this scene is deffo racist because of the joke of the accent of the servers trying to sing "FaLaLaLaLa". ~jcs

What pleasure senses are you most excited for over the next few days?

Baking at Christmas. It’s a double-edged sword of joy and stress. But watching people enjoy my delicious creativity is worth it.

At the end of today I'm pretty damn thankful. Eded my birthday/Christmas on a high note at my Dad's. Food I had has been tremendous: scratch made chili over an open fire, scratch made chicken & homemade sausage gumbo, dry aged steaks, homemade bread. I've gained 10lbs.
