Correct. But it was an American team, not Japanese. Similar things happened with Roger Clemens MVP Baseball (Orlando Merced was M. Orced, for example) and Ken Griffey Jr Presents MLB (teams had a theme for player names...BoSox were Founding Fathers, Mariners were NoA devs, etc).

Yeah I looked it up subsequently. Some of those White Sox jerseys look more like Phillies. Surely RED is the one colour the WHITE Sox should never have as primary. I have a dim view of the BoSox' current different colour alts, but at least there's no team called the Green Sox or Yellow Sox
