The Phase Two death toll has risen to 125. Two Palestinians were killed in northern Gaza, one in Jabalia al-Balad and another near the “yellow line” in Beit Lahia, according to medical sources. A third was shot near Israeli-occupied areas in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis. Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the killing, the Israeli army offered its familiar pretext of shooting an “armed individual” near the yellow line, without providing evidence. In southern Gaza, Israeli airstrikes destroyed a four-story home belonging to the Abu Hattab family in Khan Younis refugee camp, damaging dozens of nearby houses and displacement tents and injuring at least one person, according to Al Jazeera and Filastin Online. Widespread demolition operations targeted buildings east of the city, as Israeli helicopters opened machine-gun fire toward northern and eastern Gaza. Israeli vehicles also fired heavily in Rafah, and strikes hit Israeli-occupied areas east of Deir al-Balah.
