anyway, at the ER glucose is now 450, I'm admitted, insulin drip, confirmed DKA. I don't really get a diagnosis but they're assuming T1 diabetes, although I have family history of T2 and not T1.
First endo I see does a bunch of tests, including anti-insulin antibodies, and determines LADA T1.

I have a tag filter so any post tagged with "anti endo" or "endos dni" is collapsed and then I can just block them on sight. Usually I wouldn't have to block too often, but lately it's been Every Single Day that I've had to block Several accounts. It's actually getting ridiculous

there has been a large uptick in anti-endo alterhumans on tumblr. i don't usually care too much, but they're dragging their discourse into the otherkin/therian/nonhuman tags and its quite annoying. i don't care if you argue, but there are syscourse tags for a reason.

A common misconception is to wait two weeks after your last cootie shot, but anti-cooties can stay in your system up to three months. It's best to ask your endo to check your blood and advise you on any side effects before you start. I know most insurances don't cover it, but it's worth it.
