Spent the last 1 hour troubleshooting Word - some keyboard shortcuts (involving J, N, and the up/down arrows) stopped working. Finally identified a link with a PerfectIt update 😭 Contacted the PerfectIt people; am hoping they can resolve it! (Any #Edibuddies experienced this?) #AmNotEditing

Watched a local LLM get stuck in a literal loop because I told it to use British spelling but with "z" for words like "organization" (see Oxford English Dictionaries) and it couldn't figure out how those two instructions could be true at the same time 🤦♀️ #Edibuddies #AmNotEditing

My computer died after an OS update. My tech guy (husband) spent two days trying to revive it. It’s now with Apple, but it’s not looking good. I’m on a deadline and a replacement is two weeks out.
