Don't buy into the myth that "accessibility is only about adding alternative text to images." Alt text is important, of course. But there is so much more to accessibility, including headline structure, functional controls, color contrast, link text, plain language, and more.

You know when you're reminiscing with an old friend about an event, only to find that you remember it completely differently? Our memories are not fixed records but made of parts that can change. We rewrite memories by mixing them with generic knowledge and current context.

There are so many technical noun strings in this web article that (1) I don't understand the sentences and (2) can't do much more than suggest hyphens for a tiny measure of clarity. Sorry, Managing Editor, it's the best I can do 🤷‍♀️ #AmEditing #PlainLanguage

"Its use in projections is remarkably more successful than most economic models" - I suppose that means something like "It is remarkably better at projections than most economic models".

I'm only lightly copyediting so stet but oof. #AmEditing

Oh no, new acronym spotted in these genAI days: HITL, for human-in-the-loop! Human oversight is crucial when using genAI, so I wonder if HITL will become a widely recognized acronym in the coming years... Article is by Juliet John, published 12 November 2025 on Zapier's blog.

Realized after a 2-wk break that the number of heel flap stitches are wrong on one sock (knitting 2aat) 🤦🏻‍♀️ Trying to fix by moving stitches to another needle, adding a lifeline to frog back to, and just keeping things untangled 😂 🧶

I cleaned my keyboard! #TinyJoys And I can't show you how much dirt was on it 😳
First challenge of the year: learning to type "6" correctly! I can touch type but always (improperly, according to my HS typing class) used my right hand to reach 6. That was fine until I got my beloved split keyboard. (And omg I need to clean my keyboard! 😱)
