I'm knitting socks TAAT with block-dyed yarn, curious to see how the pattern develops—but so far, one side refuses to change color. I keep peering into my yarn cake to see if it's anywhere near changing 😆🧶 #knitting #SockKnitting

Yay, redone and ready for spouse's biz trip 🥳
Vielen Dank, @dieheike.bsky.social - embroidering worked perfectly! 🧶 #Knitting

Finished beanie for spouse! But will now frog it all 😭 and redo, as I didn't calculate hat height properly despite swatching and logo is too low and too messy (learned about intarsia halfway through 😅). May the yarn hold up yet another frogging!🧶 #Knitting #IsThisLoveOrWhat #BeginningKnitter

I don't know what it is about pink but I get bored with the color. #SockKnitting 🧶

Started knitting my 4th pair of socks (ever) and am having fun trying a new texture. After so many false starts and froggings (cursed yarn??), I'm hopeful again 😆 Amazing what combining k and p can create. 🧶 #SockKnitting

Knitting cast-on gods were not with me today: tail was too short for long-tailed cast-on (3 times! 🤦🏻‍♀️) , forgot to bring my 2nd ball to cast on socks 2AAT, and managed somehow to get the working yarn caught between the cable and the magic loop divide (how??). Am giving up for the day 😂 🧶

I love this crochet moss stitch with variegated yarn 😍 I wish I had many more colors to mix it up even more... 🧶 (Counting this as #StetWalk, as I worked on this while on my step machine. Crocheting is a great way to take my mind off boring exercise.)

Yay won yarn chicken! Used up some leftover cotton yarn to make a little tote (to hold a crochet/knitting project of course). #crochet 🧶

Phew, managed to get both socks back on one set of circular needles 🤩 Not sure why my needles were facing a different way when I started the pair though. They seem all right now 🤔 My uneven tension is irritating. #SockKnitting 🧶 #KnittingBeginner

First time with changing yarns—love how it looks 😍 I started knitting 2 at a time to avoid 2nd sock syndrome but got nervous about the gussets (couldn't figure out direction of the needles) so they're now separate. Also loving my new square needles!! 🧶 #SockKnitting #Beginner

I'm going to #ACESVCON25! The 11-hr time difference is slightly daunting but I look forward to joining live in the first session of each day.

Hope to meet #edibuddies, especially if you're in Asia-Pacific time zones. #AmEditing #AmLearning

Finished knitting my 1st pair of socks! Still lots of mistakes and my tension changed so the 2 don't quite match. Want to learn knitting 2 at a time, but my fingers are itching to start the next pair and can't wait for the long circular needles to arrive! #Knitting #SockKnitting 🧶 #TinyJoys

An unexpected encounter with a kid! It was fearless and kept trying to climb on our laps. The goat herder said it loves cuddles ❤ #TinyJoys

My first ever sock and first ever knitting project is almost done!! It's full of holes and mistakes 😂but I got an overall sense of what's involved and feel ready to try for real. Now to order some yarn! 🧶 #beginner

I found an assortment of DPNs (I think they belonged to the late sister of a late uncle-in-law...yeah I live in an old house) so am practicing sock knitting. My cheap short circular needle is nice b/c the points stay out of my way 😂 #Beginner 🧶

Finished a shrug! My family isn't impressed with it and it's not really my color, but I don't care—I MADE SOMETHING WEARABLE 🎉 It needs to be washed when outside humidity isn't 90%... Pattern: www.twoofwands.com/blog/movie-n... #Crochet 🧶 #Beginner

Ok I'm convinced. Blocking helps. One set of granny squares were blocked before they were connected, the other not - and it shows! #Crochet 🧶 #Beginner

I started crocheting 3 weeks ago and am amused to be working on an ugly floppy basket to use up leftover yarn in color combos I don't love and realizing that I may have to get more of this yarn to finish said basket 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 (The pattern is great! It's just my execution lol.) #crochet

Seeing old Bangkok going strong just one street behind the new areas made me feel like a young explorer again. (The telephone cables are, however, much more organized than they used to be.) #StetWalk

Suddenly found myself crocheting, 30+ years since the last time I tried. It's addictive! I need to make something other than pot holders next though.

Made this beginner-friendly pair in 2 days (I still need to tuck on the end strands). Pattern from leeleeknits.com/decorative-p...
