#aimovig
I can get back on my Aimovig in a few days and then start looking for a job in March. I'd like to start part time, but I could do full time AS LONG AS I DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH CLIENTS.

If anyone knows anything, LMK. I'm not too proud. I'll probably just start with temp work anyway.

- back to having bad cramps and real periods every month after years of none with the IUD....
- chronic migraines+headaches are bad again despite being originally helped by my super expensive aimovig needles
- can't ski or snowboard

basically everything hurts and im dying.

My migraines have essentially disappeared with a monthly shot of a relatively new med called Aimovig. It might not work for you, but it has given me my life back. Just sharing, not a plug.

I take a triptan for a rescue medication, but I also use Aimovig one a month as a preventative! But my doctor had to fight the insurance company to get it approved.

Gestern Aimovig, heute Migräne. Ein Klassiker

Miss Gandy: I've had great success with the once a month Aimovig, plus propranalol (when I get pressure in face), plus weed (legal in Oregon) and sumatriptan with 800mg Ibuprofen. The Aimovig made a huge difference. Migraines suck.

I had no luck with Botox, was okay on Aimovig for a bit but that stopped working, and moved to Qulipta. It has been a complete life-changer. I had 3-4 migraines a week plus daily regular headaches. I get 1-2 a month and I very rarely have to use rescue meds. There was a mess up with my script

I take a lot of nonprescription stuff my neurologist recommends (like vitamins). Propranolol. Trokendi XR. Aimovig. Amerge (for rescue). (I still get them but it's better than before)

Thank you. Feeling ok at the moment.
Trying to get it, but consultant keeps me on Aimovig which isn’t doing the job it might.
Cluster, though. Yuck! 😢 x

Aimovig is so goated

They did this. They wanted me to try Aimovig, but I was able to bypass taking that last time … so weird

Aimovig worked for me for roughly six weeks-and it was like migraines completely disappeared. After that my body metabolized it too quickly and the last week before my next shot was hell.

That said, if you’re someone the injections work for (and you may have to try a few) they fixed everything.

sooo this week was full of my typical migraine triggers and i didn't get even one attack. aimovig is out of this world, i swear.

I'm so fucking stressed out and I know I'm about to get 1,000 migraines since I won't get my aimovig this month.

They don't like my Aimovig, either! They're getting a call today.

I'm so glad these shots exist!
I'm on Aimovig and it's been a life saver!

But the prices and coupongymnastics in the US are just extortion level mad.
I send the prescription to my pharmacy, pay 10€ max. and am set for the next three months.
No coupons. No surprises.

So. I'm on Aimovig for chronic migraine. Been on it since it hit the market. The monthly copay used to be $50, but tey have a copay assistance card, and that reduced the payment to $5.

Until this year.

Now, the payment WITH the copay assistance card is $49.

I thought drug prices were down 1000%.

i actually prefer the syringe method, i hardly feel it and i can control how quick the medication goes in (i push the plunger in nice and slow) vs my migraine shot which is actually painful and it shoots in there so fast the liquid sits under your skin and is uncomfortable. aimovig is known to suck.

working for acute attacks. I'm on my 2nd consultant neurologist now, based at St George's in South London. I have nerve blocks every 3 mths, Aimovig injections monthly & Rimegepant for attacks. My attacks halved with this treatment. Sadly, my hormone blockers for stage 4 breast cancer

Aimovig update:
- first dose in Dec, second one last week
- 4 migraines in total since the first one
- seems like my symptoms weren't as heavy those times
- I can 100% feel a difference and it is making my life so much easier.

Tja. Hier ist dann also Nummer 1!
