Yeah, it does seem like democracy 1.0 2-party system is flawed. But 2.0 parliamentary systems also seem to be struggling with neoliberal economic ideology (trickledown), oligarchy and fascism. Maybe time for a 3.0 that really keeps big money and corruption out.

i think there's a trickledown effect from the intensely consumerist attitude towards reading that comes from places like booktok to how some people view writing. like the only objective with it is to get a publishing deal and show off your novel's cover on social media. it's really sad to me.

Carney becomes more conservative every day. I don't get it, he has kids, they will have to live the consequences of his actions, just like our kids. Capitalism isn't working, more profit, less workers, less rules isn't the way to go. Trickledown is, and always was,an intended huge failure.

I agree. As I see it, Carney is a conservative at heart. It's all about money and corporations, not the average Canadian. Just more trickledown. The worse part is he's backing the wrong horse, Oil and Gas. The debt will break us if the collapsing climate doesn't do us in first.

I don't see why so many people are concerned that AI will widen the wealth disparity between the rich and the poor. The Republicans have already addressed the issue with trickledown economics

I majored in Economics in college. Throughout my college years as I learned more and then applying my educational background with my own life experiences and observations it bewilders me that people fall for the scam of trickle down/supply side economics. I’ve seen no evidence of it in my lifetime.
