The fact is though NYPD and all cops are occupying forces who are here to kill and control the public in the interests of those in power, and his job as mayor is to support them in doing this, by definition. As would it be with whoever untimely wins.

In the Breakfast Club interview he talked about his plan for maintaining police at their current level of funding / size, and spending new money on the creation of his non police based public safety organization that would focus eg on responding to mental health emergency calls.
Mamdani said he was still gonna give money to cops right?

Whelp, as expected, lots of talk, very little specfics and no sense of the current reality. Our watch group mostly yelled at the screen in frustration. Hickenlooper & @bennet.senate.gov need to find a way to lead - people on the call were desparately asking for specifics in the comments

Propaganda works and has never been defeated by facts and logic alone.
Propaganda relies on apeals to emotion and repeation of the same key points regadless of specfics.
To defeat it, you have to do the same, though ground your key points in facts & logic.
We are failing on emotion & repeation.

But it can't be the main one because it leaves open an avenue to validating the argument if it DOES apply in specific cases. And a lot of the damage we're getting rn is nitpicking the specfics for "exceptions" that "deserve" cruelty because the objection was to the TARGET not the ACT.
