Sketches for my Iron Inquisition project, they’re going to function as Arbites proxies for combat patrol and I took hints from welding gear and Zouaves. The chest piece is the least inspired since breastplates can only be so distinct.

Despite being only 28 minutes long and made almost entirely from still photos, La Jetée (1962) packs quite a punch. It also inspired the 1995 #scifi movie 12 Monkeys - influences that are clear to see in the original black and white short film. Well worth a watch.
