I FINALLY DID IT
Matrix multiplication was a bit of a red herring; what I actually had to do was apply the transformation T_(pq) twice to a and b, and then rearrange their terms such that it’s clear what p' and q' are supposed to be. I plugged those values into the code, and it works! 😆🎉 #math #sicp

Re Symbolics, yes, also the first domain name registered, I believe? I never used a lispm but I lurk with a bunch of collectors and a hardcore Common Lisper was my functional programming mentor a while back. He pointed towards SICP, Scheme, Standard ML, and thus was created a monster.

Digo mais: esse livro é considerado um substituto melhor e mais moderno para o clássico "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs" (SICP).

Depois de muito estudar o SICP e fazer um curso sobre ele com o David Beazley, concluí que o SICP é bom, mas é muito sobrevalorizado. Faltou edição.

なんらかの級数が円周率を含む値に収束するだとか、関数を級数展開するだとか、f(pi)が零点であるような関数の零点を求めるだとか。きっと色々なやり方がある。私はこの問題についてググらないことに決めていたので、一般的なセオリーはよく分からない。

もしかしたら自力で解いてみたい読者もいるかもしれないから、私の答案の詳細は述べない。でもアルゴリズム的にはSICPの演習でやったようなものを使った。なんのことはない、実は10年以上前に読んだ本に必要なことは書いてあったのだった。
読んだことが身になり、点と点が繋がって答案としてひりだされるまで10年かかってしまったが。
